Bakers Delight has raised more than $3.7 million since 2000, which goes a long way towards helping support thousands of breast cancer survivors and their families.
Each year Bakers Delight bakeries across Australia join forces with breast cancer survivors and conduct a range of fundraising activities for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) in their effort to support women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Money raised helps BCNA distribute the My Journey Kit – a comprehensive information kit distributed free of charge to women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Over 13,000 women and 100 men will need BCNA’s support in 2009.
The support of Bakers Delight also enables BCNA to produce the Hope & Hurdles Pack – a resource for women living with secondary breast cancer.
Bakers Delight also offers project support and advice, and provides BCNA with a fully serviced head office location.
